At Contreras Translation & Interpretation Services, we specialize in providing oral and written translation services for School Districts to help them with all their Special Education needs, such as IEP, psychological evaluations, physical therapy, speech and language therapy, social history, student testing (Regents exams), CPSE/CSE meetings, Superintendent hearings, parent conferences/workshops, etc.

SILVIA CONTRERAS
PRESIDENT
Silvia Contreras, the President of Contreras Translation & Interpretation Services, is a member of the American Translation Association, and has 14 years of experience providing translation and interpretation to School Districts (CPSE, CSE, parent meetings, and student testing). She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Information Systems, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Pace University. She is presently employed by The Guidance Center of Westchester, as Early Childhood Business Director. Her duties include all aspects of the CPSE, CSE, and annual review meetings.
BLANCA MARTINEZ
PROJECT MANAGER
Blanca Martinez has 6 years of experience as a Project Manager & English to Spanish Translator for Contreras Translation & Interpretation Services. She holds a double Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Philology and Journalism from the University of Navarra (Spain). During the last years, she has helped the company face the challenges posed by its incredible growth trajectory, coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. She has extensive experience using different CAT tools and also designed this website.
SARAH MORRISON
ACCESSIBILITY CONSULTANT AND COACH
Sarah Morrison received their Master's in Deaf Education from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Morrison has been a strategic consultant in various capacities. They come with both a lifelong personal experience as a person with disabilities and 15-plus years in this professional field. Their focus on education, accessibility, and community engagement is centered on disability justice with social justice as a lens and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) as the framework. Morrison has been educating various stakeholders and the community about the importance of committing to DE&I work. With Sarah Morrison’s exquisite background in this field, they are excited to work with us as we aim to advocate for equitable access through various communication modalities for all clients.
